Hannah Angootealuk was elected in the general election held on October 27, 2025, to represent the constituency of Aivilik in the 7th Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.
Mrs. Angootealuk’s professional experience includes positions as a counsellor at the Pulaarvik Kablu Friendship Centre and a student counsellor at Sakku School. She has also worked as a clerk-interpreter.
Mrs. Angootealuk holds a diploma in addictions services.
Ms. Angootealuk has served as a member of the Coral Harbour Housing Authority.
Mrs. Angootealuk has been a community search and rescue volunteer.
Hannah and Leo Angootealuk are the proud parents of Kevin, Natalie, Matthew, Tessa and Selma.
Ms. Angootealuk’s personal interests include camping and fishing.
