The Honourable Annie Tattuinee was elected in the general election held on October 27, 2025, to represent the constituency of Rankin Inlet South in the 7th Legislative Assembly of Nunavut.

Ms. Tattuinee was elected to serve on the Executive Council during the November 18, 2025, proceedings of the Nunavut Leadership Forum. She was formally sworn into office on November 20, 2025.

Ms. Tatuinee’s professional experience includes four decades of progressively more senior roles with the federal government, the territorial government and Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated. She has also been a small business owner,

Ms. Tattuinee is a former member of the Municipal Council of Rankin Inlet.

Ms. Tattuinee was a founding member of the Kataujaq Daycare Society.

Ms. Tattuinee is a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ms. Tattuinee holds a Certificate in Management Studies from Nunavut Arctic College. Her professional development includes coursework in human resources management, project management and mental health counselling.

Ms. Tattuinee‘s personal interests include sewing and crafting.
