The Honourable Keith Peterson MLA for Cambridge Bay |

 Keith Peterson was first elected to the Nunavut Legislative Assembly in 2004. Keith was born in Whitehorse, Yukon, and has lived in all three territories. He has resided in Cambridge Bay since 1973. During this time, he has held a number of key positions in the field of economic and social development. Prior to being elected to territorial office, Keith served as the Mayor of Cambridge Bay, Chairman of the Kitikmeot Law Centre and President of the Nunavut Association of Municipalities. Keith was appointed as Minister of Finance and Minister of Health and Social Services on November 19, 2008. On January 29, 2009, Keith was re-appointed as Minister of Finance and named Minister of Justice. Keith and his wife, Sandra, have two sons. |
